Here you can see the foundations of our latest project. Situated in the remote area of Tirrah Valley, Khyber, Pakistan. Although the people in this village are Muslims, there is not a single mosque or place of worship for them, furthermore, there is no school or madrasa for the children to go to and gain even a basic education in this village. The total cost we must raise is £12,000 to complete this project in full.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)
These establishments are fundamental amenities that most people have easy access to. Simple education can have a huge impact on not only the quality of their lives but of the whole community opening up opportunities for the village to grow and advance. Contributing to this project is a reward that will never cease to benefit you, for every prayer recited in the mosque, for every child who studies there, you will gain reward for it. An indispensable act of sadaqah which will surely affect countless lives in this village for many generations to come.
‘When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which Is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him’ [Muslim]
